These marble muffins are sweet little marble cakes. They are fluffy and velvety and tender. And they are the perfect combination of vanilla and chocolatey dough.
The marble muffins are super tasty. Be quick to make sure to grab one.
For the muffins you only need a few basic ingredients, you might already have at home. From that mix up the dough. And after 20 minutes in the oven, the muffins are ready.
Before serving, you can dust them with some powdered sugar. Or you could decorate them with some melted chocolate.

Recipe – 12 muffins:
150g plant-based butter, room temperature
150g sugar
1 pinch of salt
2 tsp vanilla sugar
240g flour
½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
24 tbsp (ca. 160g/ 160ml) plant-based milk, for the whole dough, room temperature
6 tbsp plant-based milk, specifically for the chocolate dough, room temperature
15g cocoa
Baking: 160° degrees celsius – 20 minutes
Whisk the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt until foamy/ frothy. For about 5 minutes on maximum level.
Mix the flour with the baking powder.
Whisk the vanilla extract into the butter/ sugar mixture. Then add alternating flour and milk.
Then take out 1/3 of the dough and put it into a smaller bowl. Add the cocoa powder, 6 tablespoons of plant-based milk. Mix until well combined.
Take a muffin tray and some paper muffin forms. Now add the vanilla and the chocolate dough. Take a chopstick and swirl through the dough, to combine the vanilla and the chocolate dough and make a nice marble pattern.
Bake the muffins for about 20 minutes at 160° degrees celsius in the oven.
After they are cooled down, dust them with some powdered sugar.
