If you are in need of refreshment – mix up your own strawberry mint lemonade – it’s quick and easy!
No matter if you want a refreshing drink during the day, the kids ask for some lemonade, or you just want a fantastic tasting non-alcoholic drink that brings you some variety you gotta try this strawberry mint lemonade.
And if you want to have a gin cocktail in the evening or at the weekend, just turn this lemonade into a delicious flavourful gin cocktail.
Let’s get started: Just put all the ingredients together, grab some ice cubes, eventually prepare a slice of lemon some mint leaves, and a straw. There you have your colorful, extraordinary delightful, fruity, refreshing drink!
4 lemons, squeezed
4 twigs mint / 1 handful mint leaves
2 tbsp agave syrup
700 ml water / sparkling water
Option for a Gin Cocktail: 4cl Gin per glass
Squeeze out the lemons to get some fresh juice.
Wash the strawberries, remove the green part, and cut them into quarters. Then blend the strawberries.
Give the mint a short rinse to clean it. Pluck off the leaves and blend them with one tablespoon of the lemon juice.
Fill the strawberry puree, the lemon juice and the blended mint leaves in a big enough jar. Fill up with 700ml cold water (or sparkling water). And stir in the agave syrup. If it is not sweet enough for you, just add a little bit more agave syrup.
Put the ice cubes in the glasses and fill them up with the lemonade.
Turn the Strawberry Mint Lemonade into a Gin Cocktail:
Put some ice cubes in the glasses, and fill the gin in them.
And then you just have to fill up with the strawberry mint lemonade.
Give it a quick stir. Optionally decorate your cocktail with a slice of lemon and / or a mint leave.
