Fabulous delicious Nougat Cupcakes with Nougat Cream

Keep calm! This sweet nut nougat cupcakes with cream topping will blow you mind!

Because of its great taste. And the best thing is the baking of these cupcakes is easy.

As you know nougat is no chocolate. But if someone is missing the creamy milk chocolate he can find a place in the sweet nougat land. The most popular kind of nougat is hazelnut nougat. But alternatively, there is also cashew nougat, sesame nougat, macadamia nougat. Also, hemp-nougat exists.

It is absolutely worth to taste all the various nougat types. The roast aromas of the different nuts are the reason for the different tastes.

Bake these sweet cupcakes for your family, for your friends, for the children’s party, for a birthday, for Sundays coffee round, or anything that lies in between. You will get great feedback and pure love as a response. Just make sure that you can serve enough cupcakes to make everyone happy. With these small tasty chocolaty sweets, you can bring everyone up to cloud number nine.

Of course, you can also serve the cupcakes without cream topping. Also, a nougat muffin makes people super happy, that’s for sure!

Recipe for 12 cupcakes:

190g flour
100g sugar
2 ½ tsp baking powder
20g cocoa powder
1 pinch of salt
50g cold espresso (or really strong coffee)
1 tsp vanilla extract
50g plant-based butter
80g hazelnut nougat
110g plant-based milk

Cream:

500g plant-based whipped cream
20g hazelnut nougat
1 tbsp plant-based milk

Baking: 180° Celsius- 18 to 20 minutes

Start with all the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder and mix it up together.

Melt the butter and the nougat in a small pot with low to medium heat. If it is creamy add the vanilla extract, the plant-based milk, and the expresso (coffee). Stir it every now and then.

Now mix all the ingredients – wet and dry – to get a semi-liquid dough.

Fill the prepared muffin forms with the dough and put it in the oven for 18 to 20 minutes at 180° Celsius.

For the Cream, topping let the nougat melt together with the tablespoon plant-based milk on low heat. Afterwards, let it chill again.

Now add the nougat cream slowly to the whipped cream and mix it. Fill the cream into a piping bag. As soon as the muffins cooled completely you can decorate them with the cream.

You can garnish the cupcakes with some cocoa powder on top just before serving them to your friends and family.
