LOOOVE, the summertime when it is hot outside. Now, what could be better than cool ice cream and enjoying it sitting in the sun!
This recipe does not need any ice machine: Simply put all ingredients in a bowl and blend them up – done!
As this recipe is with frozen bananas the ice cream gets super creamy and sweet. The almond milk combines all ingredients harmonious. The vanilla extract brings the vanilla flavor. Depending on the sweetness of your bananas you can add any syrup, e.g. agave syrup. And how incredibly well the banana & matcha combination tastes you have to try yourselves – words cannot describe!
After mixing up the ingredients you can put the ice cream for another 15 minutes in the freezer. If you have it there overnight just remember to take it out about 10 minutes before serving it – so that it is not frozen like stone but creamy to eat.
Recipe (2 to 3 portions) :
2 frozen bananas
2 tsp matcha powder
10 tbsp almond plant-based milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
optional: agave syrup for sweetness
Freeze the bananas – at least for 3 hours.
Put all ingredients into a bowl and mix it with a hand blender until it gets homogenous ice cream consistency.
