Oh no! Halloween is coming 😉 . So I’d love to help out with a spooky recipe idea from my kitchen for your next Halloween Party.
If you want a quick and easy Halloween party recipe – there you go :-). I used some store-bought pizza dough, but if you have time you can make the dough yourself. Or maybe you even have some leftover dough in your fridge or freezer.
I also just bought some plain tomato sauce and spiced it to my own taste.
So, I wish you all Happy Halloween – Enjoy the party and the food 🙂 !!!
Recipe – 15 Pizza Mummies (and some body parts 😉 ):
1 pizza dough – 400g – 36x24cm
200ml tomato sauce / sieved tomatoes
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 pinch of sugar
2 tsp Italian herb mix
1 garlic clove
4 slices of vegan cheese
15 pcs black olives
Mix the tomatoes with salt, pepper, sugar, and herbs. Mix well. Press the garlic clove and add it to the tomato sauce. Mix well.
Take the dough, put it on your work surface, take a round-shaped cookie cutter, or simply a glass, and cut out the mummies’ heads – with a diameter of 5 centimeters. Generously put the tomato sauce on the little pizza pieces.
Cut the olives into slices, and put them on the mummies pizzas as eyes.
Cut the vegan cheese into thin and short stripes. And put them on the small pizzas so you get a nice mummy look.
Also, use the rest of the dough: coat it with the rest of the tomato sauce. Twist and twirl until you get some body-shaped parts.
Bake the mummies in the oven at 190° celsius for about 12 minutes (check the instructions on the packaging).
Happy Halloween!
