He loves muffins. She loves muffins. You all love muffins. I love muffins. We love muffins. Why?
Because #1 They taste absolutely delicious. #2 The ingredients are mixed up really quickly. #3 They are the perfect ready to go – bite-sized sweet treat.
You may already have seen some blueberry muffin recipes on the internet. But trust me, when the combination of the sweet dough, the juicy sweet tiny apple pieces, and the berries hit your tongue, it will be the ultimate ‘it’s so good’ moment. And it really comes down to the apple-blueberry combination that is so incredibly delicious I don’t know why it is not occurring in many more sweet treats recipes.
These muffins are tender and fluffy and loaded with fruits like an apple and blueberries. Sweet and vanilla flavored and moist. The apple and the blueberries complement each other in the most perfect way.
They are baked at 180° celsius for about 27 minutes. When baking these muffins have an eye on them especially at the end. Depending on your oven you might keep them in the oven for about 2 to 3 minutes more.
Enjoy!
Recipe for 10 muffins (10 servings):
150g flour
90g sugar
2 ½ tsp baking powder
1 pinch of salt
½ tsp cinnamon
10g vanilla sugar
15g powdered sugar
200g blueberries
70g apple (approx. 1 small apple)
40g oil
130g water
Baking: 180° degree celsius – 27 minutes.
Mix the dry ingredients – flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla sugar in a bowl.
Carefully mix the blueberries with powdered sugar.
Peel the apple. And cut it into really small pieces. Then mix the apple pieces with the sugared blueberries.
Add water and oil to the dry ingredients. Just so that everything is combined. Then add the fruit, apple, and blueberries, and carefully fold them into the dough.
Now you can fill the dough into the muffin forms.
Bake the muffins at 180° Celsius for about 27 minutes.
Done!
